Kevin Awalt and Candice Awalt believe in a strong community. In their spare time, they continuously try to help those in need and to help bring people together.
Sandy Hook: Kevin designed a shirt in which he sold and gave all the proceeds to the families of the victims of the shooting. The total amount donated was about $5000

Hurricane Sandy: Kevin collected numerous items such as clothing, toys, blankets and food at his shop and dropped these items at a firehouse which then brought them to the victims in New Jersey. Candice and their oldest daughter made over 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and packed them in paper bags that had words of encouragement and hope on them.
Capes of Hope: Candice and her oldest daughter made superhero capes that were donated to a children’s hospital to be given to children fighting cancer.
Kevin Awalt first started in the detailing field in 1997 when he detailed boats for a marina on Candlewood Lake in Brookfield, Ct
In 2004 he started a Mobile Detailing business detailing cars, motorcycles, boats, etc. at the location of choice by the customer. Kevin is certified in automotive appearance and detailing from Rightlook in California and is extremely passionate about the detailing business. Shortly afterward, Kevin opened a successful detailing studio. Through the success of the business, Kevin was offered a position as Product Development Director at G-Techniq North America and decided to sell his business to focus on the sales of G-Techniq Product Line. After about a year of working with the company, Kevin knew that physically detailing was his true passion bringing us to the new Paint Correction and Detailing Studio, Arkham Shine. Kevin is devoted to customer satisfaction and looks forward to partnering with you to keep your vehicles looking their best.
Candice was an assistant director at a childcare center for many years. However, when she wasn’t working there, she could be found detailing alongside her husband, Kevin. Candice is certified in automotive appearance and detailing from Rightlook in California and is equally as passionate about cars. Although caring for their two young children is a full time job, you can often see her making sure Arkham shine is running smoothly.
